When Julie and Korey learned their baby girl had a congenital heart defect, they turned to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital for the best care. Julie’s mother, Beth, was there to support her, showing that even strong mothers need their own moms.

Lila was born just before Mother’s Day and showed incredible strength from day one, undergoing her first heart surgery at just one month old. When Lila fell critically ill, the Ronald McDonald House Charities Ann Arbor (RMHCAA) became their home away from home.
